Deal #1: 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R KRT β $4,500 (Denver, CO)
Market value: $7,500β$10,000 | Est. savings: $3,000β$5,500
This is the headline deal of the week. A 2023 ZX-6R KRT (Kawasaki Racing Team livery) in clean condition, sub-5K miles, listed at $4,500 β that is 40β55% below what you would pay at a dealer or private sale for the same bike.
The KRT trim carries a ~$500 MSRP premium over the base ZX-6R, so you are getting a fully-loaded sportbike at a stripped price. Either the seller is motivated, or they do not know what they have. Either way, this is the one to call first.
Deal #2: 2026 Suzuki GSX-8TT β $3,900 (Queens, NY)
Market value: $7,500β$9,000 | Est. savings: $3,600β$5,100
The GSX-8TT is Suzuki's sport touring interpretation of the CP2 platform β same 776cc twin as the naked GSX-8S, but with clip-ons, sportier ergonomics, and fairing protection. New, it is $9,399 MSRP. This 2026 model is listed at $3,900 private party in Queens.
That is aggressive. Either it is a dealer trade-in they priced wrong, or the seller is in a hurry. At $3,900 you are looking at the bike at roughly 41% of new MSRP β in line with a 3β4 year old used unit, not a '26 model. Worth a follow-up call.
Deal #3: 2005 Honda Shadow Phantom 750 β $2,400 (Loveland, CO)
Market value: $3,800β$5,000 | Est. savings: $1,400β$2,600
The Shadow Phantom is one of the most recognizable entry-level cruisers on the road. This 2005 example has 5,600 original miles β the kind of low-mileage garage queen that rarely comes up. Owner is motivated and already cut the price once.
At $2,400 you are in "first call wins" territory. The Phantom platform is bulletproof, parts are everywhere, and the $2,400 buy-in keeps your budget open for gear and maintenance.
Deal #4: 2021 KTM 1290 Super Duke GT β $9,850 (Loveland, CO)
Market value: $13,000β$16,000 | Est. savings: $3,150β$6,150
KTM's Super Duke GT is the street sport tourer for riders who do not want a Gold Wing. 1,301cc V-twin, 147hp, semi-active suspension, WP APEX forks β this thing is a weapon on any road. A 2021 model with reasonable mileage at $9,850 is firmly in "steal" territory for anyone who has looked at GT prices recently.
The Super Duke GT holds value well, but $9,850 on a '21 is well below what the market has been doing. Worth a serious look if you have got the budget.
Deal #5: 1996 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic β $3,800 (Belle Plaine, MN)
Market value: $5,500β$7,500 | Est. savings: $1,700β$3,700
The Heritage Softail Classic is the quintessential American cruiser β and this '96 is the pre-evolution model that purists actually want. Rubber mount engine, classic Springer-style front end option, 1450cc Twin Cam heart.
At $3,800 you are not going to find a cleaner '96 on the market. These bikes are only going up as the market for air-cooled Harleys tightens. Buy this, ride it for two years, sell it for the same money.
